Movin' Out star Darren Holden will taken center stage at New York's The Cutting Room on Tuesday, October 17th.

The concert will feature Holden performing all new original songs from his new CD "Roadworks."  The concert will also feature "good old fashioned rock 'n' roll tunes from Billy Joel, Elton John and others," according to press materials.  Members of the Movin' Out Band will accompany Holden.

"Roadworks" is the result of 2 years of writing and recording on the road while touring with Movin' Out in the US and Canada.  On this CD, he also collaborates with Tommy Byrnes, Billy Joel's long time musical director and guitarist. Byrnes wrote 2 songs on the CD and produced 3 songs for Holden.

Holden, during the run of Movin' Out, performed Lead Vocals in the hit Twyla Tharp-Billy Joel show.  He is currently performing in the show on the West Coast.  He has also performed in Riverdance-On Broadway.

Doors will open at 7 PM, and Holden will perform at 7:30 PM.  The Cutting Room is located at 19 W. 24th St.  Tickets are $15, and reservations are suggested.  Call 212-691-1900 or visit www.thecuttingroomnyc.com.  Visit www.darrenholden.com for more information on Holden.
