On February 8th, Michele Pawk will return to the Broadway cast of Mamma Mia! to once again take on the role of Donna Sheridan; she will play both the matinee and evening performance as she restarts her run in the show.

In December, Pawk took some time off from the hit ABBA musical due to a bruised vocal chord. She had started in Mamma Mia! on October 19th, 2005 opposite husband John Dossett (The Constant Wife, Gypsy), who continues to play Sam Carmichael.

Pawk received a Tony Award for her performance in Hollywood Arms. Other Broadway credits include Seussical, Cabaret, Triumph of Love, Chicago, Crazy for You and Mail. She created the role of Nellie in the out-of-town tryout run of Sondheim's Bounce, and has been seen off-Broadway in The Paris Letter, Reefer Madness, john & jen, Merrily We Roll Along and Hello Again.

Currently running at the Winter Garden Theatre (where it has played almost 1,800 performances), Mamma Mia! takes place on a tiny Greek Island, as a mother and daughter try to settle the girl's paternity before her wedding. The show is set to the songs of ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, with hits including "Dancing Queen," "Money, Money, Money" and "The Winner Takes It All."

Mamma Mia!'s book is by Catherine Johnson, with direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, the musical features production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

Mamma Mia! also stars Judy McLane as Tanya, Olga Merdiz as Rosie, Carey Anderson as Sophie, Andy Kelso as Sky, Mark L. Montgomery as Bill and David Beach as Harry.
