For generations, musical theatre writers have come to New York City to change the world. "Once Upon A Time In New York City" is a concert series about the people who have changed THEM. After a sold-out first edition, the series returns to Joe's Pub on Sunday February 3 at 7pm. The concert will feature 15 world premiere songs.

The concert series features musical theatre writers- who are ages 19 to 90, who were born everywhere from Kansas City to San Francisco to Montreal, who are established and who are emerging- each writing a song about someone who has changed their idea of New York City. "Once Upon A Time In New York City 2" will benefit The Red Cross.

Writers contributing to the concert are Michael Arden, David Austin, Anna Ty Bergman & Alexander Sage Oyen, Nick Blaemire, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Joe church, Michael Finke, Francesca Garrard, Amanda Green, Maribeth Graham & Dana Rowe, Doug Katsaros & Amanda Yesnowitz, Mike Pettry, Louis St. Louis, and Georgia Stitt. Additional writers will be announced at a later date. Performers will also be announced at a later date.

The concert is created by Caleb Hoyer and Jennifer Ashley Tepper, creators of the Bistro Award-winning series "If It Only Even Runs A Minute".
