McGillis and Leis Joined in Civil Union

According to the New York Times, Kelly McGillis and partner Melanie Lies were joined in a civil union in Collingswood, New Jersey. The ceremony took place on September 15 and was officiated by Judge Robert T. Zane III. The couple met in 2000.
McGillis' stage credits include: THE LITTLE FOXES, and HEDDA GABLER at Roundabout Theatre Company. She was also seen on the big screen in Stake Land, The Accused, Witness, and Top Gun.
