Broadway actor and singer, Max von Essen announced today the release of his new holiday single, "Just in Time for Christmas." 100% of the proceeds from the single will benefit The Trevor Project. It is the perfect gift of giving this holiday season by providing aid to LGBT youth in crisis.

" 'Just in Time for Christmas' is a holiday song I've enjoyed singing at various concerts and benefits over the years and I suddenly thought what a thrill it would be to finally record it and share it with my fans, friends and family. It's a song of hope and about finding someone who lifts your spirits, so it only seemed fitting that every dollar in sales should go to one of my favorite charities, The Trevor Project, an organization truly based on hope. They provide an outlet for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth in crisis or contemplating suicide. Growing up is difficult enough for these children and in today's climate of intense bullying, it can be terrifying. I can think of no better way to give back right now than to lend my voice to such a wonderful cause. And I'm so lucky to have wonderful friends like Mike Croiter at Yellow Sound Lab and photographer Leon Le, who both donated 100% of their services to help get this done, ensuring that every dollar from sales would go to The Trevor Project. I'm so thankful and I hope everyone enjoys it," says von Essen.

"Just in Time for Christmas" features vocals by Max von Essen, lyrics by David Zippel, music by David Friedman, instrumental track and arrangement by Colin Freeman, and was recorded and mixed by Michael Croiter at Yellow Sound Lab with Photo/Artwork by Leon Le. It can currently be purchased on iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/just-in-time-for-christmas/id486589766?i=486589819&ign-mpt=uo%3D4) and cdbaby (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/maxvonessen).
