Magnet Theater Announces Holiday Shows
The Magnet Theater, New York's premiere comedy improv and sketch theater will present two special holiday shows guaranteed to have you roaring with laughter.
On Thursday, December 20th at 7 pm the theatre will present FROST; A CHRISTMYSTERY. When tragedy strikes the North pole it's up to detectives Jack Frost and Ginger Bread to solve the case. But how do you conduct an investigation when your suspects are some of the most beloved creatures on Earth and the most powerful figures in Christmastown. In this detective story we'll learn more about Santa, Frosty and Rudolph than anyone wanted to know. And maybe, just maybe find out the TRUE meaning of Christmas. Tickets are priced at $5.00
Friday, December 21st at 7 pm the show will be ANOTHER 54 WARD CHRISTMAS. Recently deposed Chicago alderman Ed Tomczak laments his election loss while entertaining a group of diehard constituents during his annual Christmas party. Buttressed by his supporters and inspired by the holiday spirit, Ed learns no amount of scandal or bad publicity can keep a corrupt alderman down. The show features Justin Peters, Dave Warth, Kelly Buttermore, Jon Bander , Federico Garduno, Joe Miles and Frank Angelini. Tickets are priced at $7.00
