Mad Horse Theatre Holds Auditions for the Next Dark Night Series Production, 9/2

Mad Horse Theatre is holding auditions for the next Dark Night Series production.

Actors and actresses needed for

Midge's Section: Three One-Act Comedies:

Recruiting by James Hoban;
Canker Sores and Other Distractions by Christopher Durang; and
Sure Thing by David Ives

Auditions will be held Wednesday evening September 1, 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm
And Thursday morning September 2, from 10 am to Noon
at the Hutchins School, 24 Mosher Street, South Portland

Please bring resume and head-shot, if possible

Performance Schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, Opening October 11 and running through October 20.
Performances in Portland at Lucid Stage, Baxter Boulevard

Characters:
Midge - a waitress at the end of her rope, late twenties to early forties. Must be comfortable with improv and scripted work.
Betty - a young woman, mid-twenties to early thirties.
Bob - a young professional, mid-twenties to early thirties
Martin - late fifties to mid-sixties, rather stiff and whiny
Prunella - late fifties to mid-sixties, over made up and dramatic, Martin's ex-wife
Man 1 - early thirties, professional
Man 2 - late thirties, early forties, well-to-do professional. The suit type.
