MOVIES TV MAYHEM Enters Final Week At Theatre Row

Movies TV Mayhem, a new play written by Dean Taucher, is now in its final week of performances at Theatre Row. The world premiere production, directed by Richard Caliban, is running through May 9.

The Off-Broadway play takes place at the taping of a podcast about the film business and follows a trio of professionals navigating egos, shifting alliances, and moral compromises. The script presents a satirical look at the entertainment industry, examining power dynamics, dealmaking, and the personalities that shape the field.
Playwright Dean Taucher brings decades of experience as a production designer and art director to the work, with credits including New York Undercover, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Sopranos. The production marks his return to theater, drawing on his career in film and television.
The creative team includes scenic designer Edward T. Morris, projection designer Joey Moro, lighting designer Joe Doran, and sound design by Richard Caliban. Casting is by Stephanie Klapper, CSA. The production is produced by Equilateral Theatre Company.
