Los Angeles-based actor and writer Christine Dickinson will present MOTHER, a one-woman multimedia psychological thriller, this June at the Madnani Theater as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Written and performed by Dickinson and directed by Kaitlin Humphreys, MOTHER follows a woman identified as “Daughter” as she navigates stress, unresolved trauma, societal pressures, and a fractured relationship with her distant mother. The production combines live performance with social media-inspired video elements to explore identity, emotional suppression, and psychological instability.
The production will feature an original score by Ben Finn.
Performances are scheduled for June 6 at 6:00 p.m., June 12 at 7:00 p.m., June 18 at 8:30 p.m., and June 21 at 6:00 p.m. The production runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission.
The production includes flashing lights, loud noises, smoke, and disturbing imagery and themes. MOTHER is being presented under the Actors’ Equity Association Los Angeles Self-Produced Project Code.
