Michael Cerveris, Estelle Parsons to Lead THE AENEID Reading, 11/7

The next IN THE RAW workshop at Red Bull Theatre will focus on a new play by Olivier Kemeid directed by Kay Matschullat. Inspired by Virgil, this powerful new work transports Aeneas's search for a homeland into the modern world of middle-eastern revolution.

A Revelation Reading of THE AENEID will be held on Monday, November 7th at 7:30pm, featuring Michael Cerveris and Estelle Parsons. There will be a VIP reception from 6-7pm at the M Club. Click here for tickets.

In The Raw is a workshop program which develops new plays of heightened language and classic themes or new takes on classics through rehearsals and public performances. In The Raw provides a unique service, offering time and space for experimentation with classical work, heightened language, and epic theatricality, giving theater artists a laboratory to develop new productions in a safe creative environment.

This OBIE Award-Winning ongoing series presents staged readings of new plays and rarely-performed classic texts.
