The Unofficial 'Meet the Robinsons' Musical Parody, a new musical by Annika Hoseth, is set to premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival from June 6-June 28.

On a journey to find his birth mother, Lewis, an orphan and a bright young inventor, is whisked away to the future where he encounters singing frogs, stolen time machines, and a vengeful man in a bowler hat seeking to ruin his life. Lewis learns that nothing is set in stone, so the best thing you can do is let go of the past and keep moving forward. From the writer of the award nominated musical, Kittens, this beloved Disney film has been reimagined for the stage with all original songs, live accompaniment and a comedically brilliant cast. Lewis and the Robinsons will make you laugh, cry, and hug your loved ones as you contemplate the inner-workings of the space-time continuum.

Annika Hoseth, the writer of the book, lyrics, and music, is known for musicals such as It Just Takes Time, You're the Sh*t!, and Kittens, which earned a Stage Takes Top Ten mention and a nomination for Best Musicals and Operas at the Hollywood Fringe Festival last year. Her songs have been performed at venues such as The Green Room 42 and The Catalina Jazz Club, and her writing has been published in journals such as Mini Plays Review: An International Journal of Short Plays and Monologues. The cast of The Unofficial 'Meet the Robinsons' Musical Parody features Lars Toler, Danny Gendron, Melvin Biteng, Andrea Geones, Kyle Pearson, Mykeal North, Nathan Schoenberg, Leah Sturdock, Zachary Goldsmith, Karen Zipor, Ben Cassil, and Mizuki Sako with piano accompaniment from Caleb Brunman.
