Lucie Pohl's APOHLCALYPSE NOW! to Play UNDER St. Marks This Fall

FRIGID New York @ Horse Trade will present a limited engagement of Lucie Pohl's newest solo show, APOHLCALYPSE NOW! The show will play Monday, October 10 at 7pm, Tuesday, October 11 at 7pm, and Thursday, October 13 at 10:30pm at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A). A new comedy of terrors from NYC comedian Lucie Pohl (Red Dwarf XI, Fantastic Beasts, Homeland) banging together character comedy, stand-up and storytelling. Expect bad language, bad decisions, a wedding, a break up, dead rats and wake up calls from Stephen Baldwin. Creator of smash hits Hi, Hitler and Cry Me A Liver. 2015 New York Innovative Theater Award nominee.

LUCIE POHL is a German-born-NYC-raised comedian, actor, writer, solo performer and producer. Her storytelling comedy debut HI, HITLER was nominated for the 2015 New York Innovative Theater Award (Outstanding Solo Performance), received 5 and 4 star reviews and played to sold out houses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on London's West End, 59E59 Theatres NY, Los Angeles, The Baltimore Fringe, Dixon Place, Emerging Artist Theatre, across Germany, in Bucharest, Romania and went on to have a full run at IRT Theatre (resident artist) in New York. In 2015, Pohl created her second play, CRY ME A LIVER which played a sold out run at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as at London's Vault Festival in early March '16. Lucie Pohl is a regular performer at Dixon Place, UCB, the PIT, IRT and can be seen doing character, storytelling and stand up work at various venues around the city.
