At Carnegie Hall, Well Recital Hall, the 27 February, trumpeter Luca Seccafieno and pianist Fabrizio Viti will perform with their programme Trumpet Rhapsody which follows the success at Parco della Musica of Rome designed by Renzo Piano.
And so, when a composer entrusts his inspiration to the foolish and libertine soul of Rhapsody, he creates a small universe of hazard where everything brings back to the impossible, in which the form seems to want to explode and outstrip the strict composing rules. In this way new small worlds arise, islands that sail and bring the spectator on a ride: from the music of the East of Arutunian, passing through Theo Charlier, to the West with West Side Story to reach the Rhapsody par excellence: the Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin. A recital of thousands of colors where the timber of five instruments seems to be absorbed by the musical power of the compositions.
Luca Seccafieno and Fabrizio Viti, have played together for many years, and their Concert activity continues on the Italian and international stages. Of classical extraction - one is already principal trumpet of Venice Chamber Orchestra, the other piano Professor at the Conservatory - they have matured various experiences in the world of Jazz, pop-rock and film music. Schilke Endorser, Luca Seccafieno has a contract as a writer with the Agenzia Letteraria Internazionale, at the moment is working at the film "Sunshine on Florence" taken from the homonymous romance.
