LubDub Theatre Co. Launches THE DOUBTFUL GUEST
LubDub Theatre Company, in collaboration with Guild Greene Gallery, is proud to present a one-night only preview performance of THE DOUBTFUL GUEST. On the eve of Halloween, an intimate audience of guests gathers around a dining table for an evening of music, magic, and spirits.
After cocktails paired with local ghost stories and sleight of hand, the evening culminates in a séance designed to summon a final guest. The performance draws inspiration from sources including the writings and artwork of Edward Gorey, the history of gang violence in Hell's Kitchen, and the traditions of mentalism and spiritualism in magic. Featuring the talents of Geoff Kanick and select LubDub Core Company Members. Core Company members include Caitlin Cassidy, Mayte Natalio, Kristin Yancy, Clinton Edward, Emily Palmquist, Skye Van Rensselaer, and Nadine Malouf, as well as resident dramaturg Robert Duffley and resident playwright Miranda Hall.
