David Leveaux, whose production of Fiddler on the Roof is currently playing the Minskoff Theatre, will direct Sinatra at the London Palladium.  The musical tribute to Ol' Blue Eyes will begin previews on February 14th and open on March 8th, 2006.

Based on (and revised from) the Radio City Music Hall piece
Sinatra: His Voice. His World. His Way..., the new production will feature jazz guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli, a big ensemble and a 40-piece orchestra, as well as projections and moveable panels that will create three-dimensional illusions of Sinatra himself being onstage. Stephen Mear will handle the choreography; Spamalot's Casey Nicholaw did so for the show at Radio City, where it was previously directed by Des MacAnuff (now represented on Broadway by Jersey Boys).

The British Leveaux, who is known for bold conceptual choices and who has directed shows on Broadway and in the West End, most recently helmed the revival of The Glass Mengarie.  He was Tony-nominated for his productions of Jumpers, Nine, The Real Thing, Anna Christie and A Moon for the Misbegotten.  Other credits include Electra and the revival of Betrayal.
