Lesli Margherita and Max Crumm to Star in SNOW WAY OUT Reading at York Theatre Company

The hilarious new holiday musical Snow Way Out has been selected to close out the York Theatre Company's reading series for 2016 with a one-time only star-studded reading on December 19th at 2:00 PM at The York Theatre, 619 Lexington Ave (E. 54th Street) on the lower level of Saint Peter's Church.

Snow Way Out has book, music, and lyrics by the award-winning team of Becca Anderson, Julian Blackmore, & Dan Marshall (Academia Nuts, 2014 Best New Musical - NYMF) with direction by Thomas Caruso (Southern Comfort, The Public Theater), musical direction by Kevin David Thomas.

The cast includes Olivier-Award Winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda; Dames at Sea), Max Crumm (Disaster; Grease), Lance Roberts (Finding Neverland; Act One), and Aneesh Sheth (Southern Comfort; Bombay Dreams).

Snow Way Out is a madcap four-character holiday romp with an evergreen pop score. Four random strangers rent a rustic cabin each hoping for a solitary holiday. But their plans are dashed when an AirBnB glitch and unforeseen blizzard leave them trapped together. A blackout, holiday spirits, and mysterious body bag converge to prove that even if you can escape your family, you can't escape Christmas. There's SNOW WAY OUT!
