The new production of Les Miserables at the Broadhurst Theatre will offer a $26.25 student rush seat, available at the box-office two hours prior to performances on Tuesday through Thursday evenings, beginning November 28th.

Students must show valid ID and are limited to two tickets per ID. Tickets are subject to availability.  Offer is not valid December 25 through 28, February 14, and April 3-12.  Tickets may be purchased with cash or credit card at the box office only.

Les Miserables also offers tickets as low as $36.25 for the mezzanine and boxes, which may be purchased in advance.

Les Miserables opened at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W. 44th St.) on November 9th.  It stars Alexander Gemignani (Sweeney Todd, Assassins) as noble on-the-run convict Jean Valjean, />/>/>/>/>Norm Lewis (Chicago, The Wild Party, Side Show) as his persistent adversary Javert, with Tony Award-winner />/>/>/>/>/>/>Gary Beach (La Cage aux Folles, The Producers) as Thenardier, />/>/>/>Celia Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee) as Eponine, Tony-nominee />/>/>/>/>/>Daphne Rubin-Vega (Bernarda Alba, Anna in the Tropics, Rent) as Fantine, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thenardier, />/>/>/>/>/>Aaron Lazar (The Light in the Piazza) as Enjolras, Adam Jacobs as Marius, and Ali Ewoldt as Cosette.

With music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by />/>/>Herbert Kretzmer, with original French text by />/>/>/>Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel and additional material by James Fenton, Les Miserables is based on the sprawling novel by Victor Hugo.  Directed by />/>/>/>Trevor Nunn and John Caird, Les Miserables originally ran on Broadway from 1987 through 2003.
