Pulitzer Prize winning author, screenwriter and journalist Lawrence Wright's latest book, Thirteen Days in September, has been named one of the "Top 10 Books of 2014" by The New York Times, is #5 on Amazon.com's Editors' List of the Best Books of 2014, made NPR's list of "2014's Great Reads," as well as Entertainment Weekly's "10 Best Nonfiction Books of 2014" and Publisher's Weekly "10 Best Books of 2014."

Camp David, Wright's play based on the same material, enjoyed an acclaimed, successful run, directed by Molly Smith, at Washington, DC's Arena Stage earlier this year, and Mr. Wright looks forward to the next production of that theatrical telling.

"Delving into this material has been one of the great joys of my career," Wright said. "And I'm excited to continue the conversation on stage with Camp David."

Thirteen Days in September offers a gripping day-by-day account of the 1978 Camp David conference, when President Jimmy Carter persuaded Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and Egyptian president Anwar Sadat to sign the first peace treaty in the modern Middle East, one which endures to this day.

Further news on Camp David will be announced shortly.
