Laurie Beechman Theatre Announces November Line-Up

The West Bank Café has announced the November, 2006 line-up of live entertainment, to be presented in The Laurie Beechman Theatre.and 8pm.

"The Laurie Beechman Theatre has a rich tradition of presenting cutting-edge work, which has played a role in shaping American theatre and live performance. Since the 80's, the theatre has staged numerous plays and hosted a myriad of live performance events," state press notes. 

"This November, the theatre is proud to announce an exciting and eclectic line-up of performers and performances, all of which will take place in the gorgeous eighty seat venue."

Please note there is a $15 food and/or beverage minimum at each performance, with the exception of The After Party. All major credit cards are accepted.

"Psycho Therapist performs 2-woman show."

Richard Malavert in "Forever Yours"
Friday, Nov 3 at 9:30pm
"Celebrated cabaret artist Richard Malavet takes to our stage in a brand new show featuring an eclectic mix of standard (Kern, Loesser) and contemporary music (Ahrens and Flaherty) and even a few Spanish boleros thrown in! Ross Patterson at the piano, and featuring a stellar instrumental quartet."

The After Party
Every Friday from 10:30pm to 2am
No cover, no minimum
"We continue our weekly open-mic schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined, hosted by iron-lunged Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, with Ray Fellman at the keys. Come hang and belt out a showtune or two. No cover, no minimum."

Inspired by Jasper's habit of playing songs from his favorite artists and CDs for friends – for hours on end – this is music that entertains, inspires and arouses! "Angelo Scollo: My Heart Stood Still"

Directed by Stephen Bel-Davies with musical direction and arrangements by Lisa DeSpain and Taylor Hollyer on bass."
