Tony Award winner Laura Benanti will bring her previously sold-out, razor-sharp solo comedy Nobody Cares to Underbelly Boulevard Soho for a strictly limited two-week run from 14–26 July. Blending stand-up, storytelling and original songs, the show delivers a hilarious and heartfelt take on people-pleasing, ageing, and the theatre of everyday life.
A New York Times Critic’s Pick, Nobody Cares is an unfiltered, often brutally honest reflection on modern womanhood - equal parts candid and comedic. With her signature wit and warmth, Benanti weaves personal anecdotes with music to explore relationships, motherhood, ambition and the absurdities of daily life, creating an intimate, deeply relatable performance.
Benanti is a Tony Award winner and five-time nominee, celebrated for her work across Broadway, film and television. Her screen credits include Life & Beth(alongside Amy Schumer), Younger, The Gilded Age, and the Gossip Girl reboot, as well as films such as Worth and No Hard Feelings. She can also be seen in the comedy drama film Everything’s Going to Be Great and Mayor of Kingstown.
A Broadway star since the age of 18, Benanti has appeared in productions including Gypsy (Tony Award winner), Into the Woods, She Loves Me and My Fair Lady. Her solo show Nobody Cares, which she created and wrote, has also been released on Audible.
Benanti’s viral impersonation of Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert remains a standout in late-night political satire, showcasing her sharp comedic instincts and cultural impact.
