Latinologues will celebrate its 100th performance on Broadway on Wednesday, December 14th at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44 Street). After the performance, Mayor Bloomberg's Deputy Press Secretary, Silvia Alvarez, will present a letter of recognition to the cast onstage. The audience will also be treated to a live musical performance by a Mariachi band.

Cheech Marin directs the Broadway production of Latinologues, a collection of comedic and poignant monologues, performed in English, revealing the Latino experience in America. The show was created and written by Rick Najera, one of America's leading comedy writers with "MAD TV" and "In Living Color" among his credits. Najera, who just last week was honored with his own caricature on Sardi's famed wall, performs in Latinologues along with Jaime Camil, Eugenio Derbez, Rene Lavan, and Shirley A. Rumierk, "as they take on everything from beauty pageants to immigration, shattering Latino stereotypes with hilarious results," according to press notes.

The Broadway engagement of Latinologues was recently extended through December 31 at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street). Ticket prices are $40 and $60 with a $20 rush ticket for the first two rows of the orchestra available on the day of performance. For tickets visit Telecharge.com or call 212-239-6200 / 800-432-7250.
