Nora Ephron's last written work, Lucky Guy, will be featured in the upcoming collection The Most of Nora Ephron, scheduled to be published by Knopf today, October 29 ($35.00). The book will only be available as a hardcover. The collection, edited and introduced by Robert Gottlieb, marks the first time Ephron's work as a journalist, essayist, novelist, screenwriter, playwright, sometimes cook and blogger has been published in one volume.

"This book demonstrates and celebrates the extraordinary range of Nora's talents," says Gottlieb, who began discussing it with Ephron in 2010 and completed it after her death in 2012. "It includes her brilliant writing as a reporter and columnist, her novel, Heartburn, and her screenplay for When Harry Met Sally..., as well as her last finished work, the play Lucky Guy. Nora's unique takes on feminism, politics, family, marriage, food, being a woman, aging, and dying - everything her readers came to admire and love her for - are represented here. Hers was a remarkable life in letters."

Among the material featured in The Most of Nora Ephron:

· Her best-selling novel Heartburn
· Her Academy Award nominated screenplay for When Harry Met Sally...
· Almost 50 celebrated pieces from Crazy Salad; Scribble Scribble; I Feel Bad About My Neck; I Remember Nothing; and A Wallflower at the Orgy
· A selection of her blog posts
· Several essays from The New Yorker
· Her commencement address to Wellesley Class of 1996
· Her play Lucky Guy

Lucky Guy appeared on Broadway last season, starring Tom Hanks as Mike McAlary, the legendary Pulitzer Prize-winning tabloid journalist of the 1980's and 90's New York police beat. The play, directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe, opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on April 1 to critical acclaim and was nominated for Best Play by the Outer Critics Circle and Drama League Awards.
