Lauren Elder, original cast member of the Broadway and West End revivals of Hair brings her love of jazz, folk, pop and musical theater together in this whimsical cabaret.

Described as a fun and quirky show that goes from original songs, to old standards, to re-inventions of pop hits from the 80′s. Lauren plays the ukulele and whistles sweet melodies with a retro flair and will be joined on stage by her band of super talented friends, including Bobby Cronin (award winning composer of Welcome to My Life, 'Til Death Do Us Part), Kaitlin Kiyan (Hair), Allison Guinn (Hair), Brett Teresa ("Til Death Do Us Part), Brett Dameron (Daybreak).

Lauren Elder is a singer-songwriter, whistler and actress living in NYC. Most recently seen on HBO's Boardwalk Empire, Lauren has also performed on Broadway and London's West End in the revival of Hair, as well as numerous jazz clubs around the city. She blends the sweet sounds of the ukulele with influences of folk, jazz and pop to create her unique, whimsical sound, which she then records in her closet, huddled between her vintage dresses.
