L.A. Theatre Works Records LIPS TOGETHER, TEETH APART, Starring Kristen Johnston and Steven Weber, 12/6-9

By:

Lips Together, Teeth Apart – Bart DeLorenzo directs two-time Emmy Award winner Kristen Johnston (3rd Rock from the Sun) and Steven Weber (Wings) when L.A. Theatre works records Terrence McNally's sizzling comedy at UCLA's James Bridges Theatre.

In a Fire Island beach house, a brother and sister and their respective spouses gather to celebrate the Fourth of July. With food, cocktails, fireworks and stinging barbs, they fortify themselves against their individual anxieties-and their gay neighbors partying in the houses on either side. Contains adult content and language.

All performances will be recorded in front of a live audience to air on L.A. Theatre Works' syndicated radio theater series, which broadcasts weekly on public radio stations nationwide and can be streamed on demand at www.latw.org.

Written by Terrence McNally, directed by Bart DeLorenzo and featuring Kristen Johnston and Steven Weber, the show is produced by Susan A. Loewenberg and plays Thursday, Dec. 6 @ 8 pm, Friday, Dec. 7 @ 8 pm, Saturday, Dec. 8 @ 3 pm & 8 pm and Sunday, Dec. 9 @ 4 pm.

All performances take place at the James Bridges Theater, UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, 235 Charles E. Young Drive, Los Angeles, Calif. (enter UCLA from Hilgard just south of Sunset Blvd.; park in Lot 3 on the lower level).

Tickets are $15-$49. Call 310-827-0889 or visit www.latw.org for tickets and more information. Join us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LATheatreWorks. Follow us on Twitter @latheatreworks.
