Jeremy Kushnier will headline two concert readings of Drift, a new musical that will be showcased as part of this year's New York Musical Theatre Festival. The readings will take place on September 19th at 3 PM and 8 PM at the Barrow Group (312 West 36th Street on the third floor).

The show, which boasts a book by Craig Pospisil and a score by Jeremy Schonfeld, "explores the heart wrenching effects of a marriage dissolved — while adding a fresh, new, male perspective on divorce and child custody. At times heartbreaking and others darkly humorous, Drift is ultimately a story of survival, personal growth and triumph," state production notes.

Nicole Bocchi, Tim Browning, Scott Coulter, Timothy Gulan, Elise Molinelli, Graham Rowat and Bart Shatto will also be featured in Drift, which is based on a concept album by Schonfeld.

Kushnier will also been seen at NYMF in another show this fall; he will co-star with Natascia Diaz in Rooms from September 13th to 23rd. He originated the role of Ren in Broadway's Footloose, and has also been seen as Mark in Rent. Kushnier has appeared in national tours of The Who's Tommy and Aida, and regionally in The Rhythm Club; workshops and readings include Summer of '42 and Joe: The Musical. He has appeared in the film The Adulterer and on TV in "FX" and "Once a Thief;" In Time is his solo album.

Tickets, which are $15, can be purchased by calling (212) 352-3101. For more information, visit www.nymf.org.
