Pulitzer Prize-nominated author Arthur Kopit's Because He Can will open on Friday, June 9th at The Greenwich Street Theatre (547 Greenwich Street). It will play through Sunday, June 25th.
Nicholas Cotz directs the play. "Running at a brisk 75 minutes, Because He Can is an erotic thriller confronting identity theft. A writing professor and his wife are interrogated by the FBI, while one of his ex-students, a young computer hacker with a chip on his shoulder lurks suspiciously around every corner. It doesn't help that the couple have skeletons in their closets that they would rather not have revealed," state press notes on the production.
