Kline, Close & BIG CHILL Cast 30 Year Reunion

The pop cultural touchstone represented by 1980s classic THE BIG CHILL was revisted this weekend when the majority of the ensemble for the celebrated comedy/drama joined for a reunion, including stage and screen stars Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, Mary Kay Place and more, as well as writer/director Lawrence Kasden.

Three-time Tony Award-winner Glenn Close fondly remembered the experience shooting the ensemble film in the early 1980s, recalling, "We can look back and say that was a very special time."

After posing for a photo and attending a screening with Kline and Place, as well as cast-mates Tom Berenger, Meg Tilly and JoBeth Williams, Close concluded, "Sitting here with all these people that I love, it was a great time and you could sit around for ever together and reminisce... I treasure it and I do think we're very lucky to be sitting here 30 years later."

Additionally, Mary Kay Place recalled the convivial atmosphere of the congenial cast members and the antics of the actors after hours, relating, "It was an extraordinary experience to have challenging work that also made you laugh and then to have as much fun during the day working as you did at night dancing and playing charades and singing Broadway show tunes at a piano at Jeff's and Kevin's."
