Kevin Dozier Raises $5,800 for Amer. Cancer Society's Hope Lodge 10/19

On Tuesday, October 19th singer Kevin Dozier raised $5,800 for the American Cancer Society's HOPE LODGE NYC during the final night of his engagement at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at West Bank Café. He dedicated his Oct 19th performance of his show "Take Me to the World" to the charity that provides free housing to cancer patients while undergoing treatment.

Kevin's next appearance in NYC will be a return to the Laurie Beechman on October 30th when he joins Donna McKechnie and others for "Sondheim Unplugged."

And on December 21st Kevin returns to Don't Tell Mama, the scene of his 2008 NYC cabaret debut, for a Holiday version of "Take Me to the World" with some special guests (TBA).

"TAKE ME TO THE WORLD", directed by Lennie Watts, includes songs by Maltby and Shire, Jones and Schmidt, Irving Berlin, Jerry Herman, Lerner and Loewe, Stephen Sondheim, Noel Coward, Ervin Drake, Rusty Magee, Alex Rybeck and others. Kevin will again be joined by Musical Director Alex Rybeck at the piano with Jered Egan on Bass and John Redsecker on drums.
