Kevin Cahoon and Erik Altemus to Lead 'ROCKY HORROR' at Bucks County Playhouse This Month; Full Cast Announced!

By:

Bucks County Playhouse Producers Alexander Fraser, Robyn Goodman, Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler, announce casting for the much-anticipated fall production of Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show.

Returning to direct, Tony Award® nominee Hunter Foster with choreography by Lorin Latarro, the cast for The Rocky Horror Show in addition to Cahoon and Altemus, includes John Bolton as the Narrator/Eddie/Dr. Scott, Nick Cearley as Brad, Jennifer Cody as Columbia, Jeremy Kushnier as Riff Raff, Alyse Alan Louis as Janet, Ryah Nixon as Magenta, along with Phantom returnees Sarah DeNight & Anabelle Garcia and a new additions Kathryn Allison and Alex Puette.

The returning creative team includes David L. Arsenault and Wilson Chin (Set Design), Nicole V. Moody (Costume Design) Travis McHale (Lighting Design) and Ed Chapman (sound).

"We are proud to continue the New Hope tradition of welcoming the beloved visitors from the galaxy of Transylvania to Bucks County Playhouse, and are particularly happy to have Hunter and Lorin back after their fantastic production of Ain't Misbehavin' in August. I remember fondly the midnight showings of the film when a student at NYU, and look forward to seeing the show live on our stage," said Fraser.

"In 1949, Grace Kelly made her stage debut at The Bucks County Playhouse. In 2013, I danced in my underwear and made out with numerous audience members. This year, anything can happen, it's Rocky Horror..." said Kevin Cahoon.

"The audience "shout-outs" are like having another character in the show... terrifying and exciting. This year I look forward to having a big awesome party on stage as I celebrate my birthday Halloween night" said Nick Cearley.

The Rocky Horror Show, a stage musical with book, music, and lyrics by Richard O'Brien, inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank 'N' Furter, his "perfect" creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

The Rocky Horror Show will run from October 23rd through November 2nd with select special late night showings.

The Rocky Horror Show is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

Tickets are start at $35 & premium "Time Warp" seats are also available. Time Warp seats give Rocky Horror Show fans the ultimate experience, including front orchestra seating, a BCP prop bag and an invitation to come up on stage and dance the Time Warp with the cast.
