Kerry Butler Lands Recurring Role on ABC's 'One Life To Live'

Kerry Butler, known on Broadway for such roles as Penny Pingleton (Hairspray), Audrey (Little Shop of Horrors), Belle (Disney's Beauty and the Beast) and Eponine (Les Miserables) has landed a recurring role on ABC's "One Life To Live." Details about her role as "Claudia", at press time, are being kept under wraps. Butler has already taped two episodes which are tentatively scheduled to air on January 18th and 19th of 2006. "One Life To Live" has and continues to feature other broadway notables such as Kathy Brier and Cady Huffman. Previously, Ms. Butler had appeared on the daytime drama in a different role (Heather) as a lead singer in a band. In addition to appearing on Broadway, Film and TV, Kerry has appeared off-Broadway in the cult hit, Bat Boy: The Musical, Miracle Brothers and the Broadway bound The Opposite Of Sex.
