Katie Thompson (Encores! Pump Boys & Dinettes, Giant) will host Musical Theatre Factory's Salon tonight. She will be joined by special guests including Lauren Blackman, Katie Rose Clarke (Wicked, The Light in the Piazza), Parker Down, Stephanie Gibson (Cinderella, The Addams Family), Steven Jamail, Scott McLean and Haviland Stillwell (Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof).

The Factory Salon is an informal open mic night for new musical theatre songs. Writers and performers are encouraged to showcase their new works. This is a great chance to show the Factory what you've been working on, or just to hear brand new songs from up-and-coming writers, in addition to songs from special guest writers and performers.

The Factory Salon will be held Thursday May 21st from 8pm-midnight at 250 W. 40th St., 4th Floor. Admission is $7 in advance $10 at the door. Online reservations can be made at mtf.nyc/events

Musical Theatre Factory is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to helping musical theatre artists develop and present new work in a collaborative environment free from the pressures of critical or commercial success.
