Judith Jamison To Be Celebrated During TARGET 20 NIGHT 12/3, All Seats $20

Judith Jamison will be celebrated as she begins her 20th year as Artistic Director of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater with TARGET 20 Night - a special performance on December 3rd at 8pm with all tickets priced at $20, sponsored by Target.

A 2009 TIME 100 Honoree, Judith Jamison is one of the most renowned figures in modern dance with an acclaimed career as a dancer, choreographer and director. A recipient of a primetime Emmy award, a National Medal of Arts and many of the nation's most prestigious honors, she has led the Ailey organization to new heights and into a permanent home - the nation's largest building for dance.

The December 3rd Target 20 Night performance will include a short film tribute produced by Target, an excerpt of Divining, the first work that Mr. Ailey invited Ms. Jamison to choreograph for the Company, and the rousing masterpiece Revelations, an unforgettable signature work.

Target 20 Night specially-priced tickets will only be available at the New York City Center Box Office (131 West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues) on October 3rd starting at 9am (available while supplies last).
