Jordan Fisher Performs 'Feed Me (Git It!)' in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS New York
The actor brings the carnivorous plant to life in the beloved off-Broadway revival.
The Off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has released a new performance video featuring Jordan Fisher tackling one of the musical's most iconic numbers, "Feed Me (Git It!)," in which the carnivorous plant Audrey II demands increasingly sinister sacrifices from the hapless florist Seymour. The clip offers audiences a vivid look at Fisher's physical and vocal commitment to the role, capturing the darkly comic tension that defines the show's second act turn.
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is based on the 1960 Roger Corman film and features a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman with music by Alan Menken. The musical follows Seymour Krelborn, a meek skid-row flower shop employee who discovers a mysterious plant that thrives on human blood, sending his fortunes — and his moral compass — into a spectacular spiral. The score blends early rock-and-roll and doo-wop influences into a propulsive, genre-savvy sound that has made the show a perennial favorite since its Off-Broadway debut in 1982.
The current New York production has been running at The Westside Theatre, where it has now entered its seventh year — a remarkable run for an Off-Broadway revival. Fisher plays Seymour alongside Tony Award winner Nikki M. James as Audrey. Claybourne Elder recently joined the cast as the leather-clad Dr. Orin Scrivello D.D.S., bringing fresh energy to the production's ensemble.
The release of the video comes amid a busy stretch for the company. The production recently navigated a brief interruption when HVAC repairs at The Westside Theatre forced the cancellation of several performances in early June 2026.
