This is an artist's journey into the work of one of the world's finest playwrights. An ensemble of talented actors will dive deep into the new plays of John Patrick Shanley, working hand in hand with the writer/director in a masterclass of new work, some written specifically for this Workshop. Auditors will have the opportunity to observe this fascinating process before being invited to join the conversation that follows each piece. The actors will explore a wide range of characters, switching roles, irrespective of gender, age or race to experience a new perspective as they examine the raw jangling nerve of gender, sexuality, and power in America today.

"This workshop is the essence of theatre - the collaboration between writer and actor. The audience (auditors) are integral to this workshop as they engage with Mr. Shanley and the actors, asking questions and sharing insights." - Kim Krejus, Artistic Director, 16th Street Actors Studio
