John Hill Reprises Whiskers on Kittens Show, Aug 22

John Hill will reprise his solo show Whiskers on Kittens at The Encore on August 22nd at 7:30 PM.Presented by Sabrina Gordin, directed by Matt Logan and featuring musical direction by Jonah Speidel, Hill sold out his previous performance of the show on July 11thA rather tongue-in-cheek press release describes the show as "a magical and majestical
jaunt filled with laughs and tears...A show for all seasons, a show for all ages, a show that will
make his mom very, VERY disappointed. The man who was called 'somewhat
convincing' by the New York Times and 'hunky' by the New York Post
returns to the New York stage with a vigor, passion, and a dedication
to his fanbase that may or may not exist."Hill's fanbase would know him for originating the roles of Jason in Bare, Mark Herron in The Boy from Oz and Fender in Hairspray (he also performed the role of Link Larkin several times). Hill also appeared in a national touring company of Miss Saigon.
