LION KING's Selloane and performance artist Joseph Keckler both hold CD Release parties at Joe's Pub.

SELLOANE: CD RELEASE

Monday, September 6 at 9:30 PM, $15 in advance / $20 at the door

Born in Welkom, South Africa, Selloane combines influence from her home-land and from around the world to create a unique soulful lyric interpretation.  Selloane performed in Disney's The Lion at the historic Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. She has been in the Toronto, London, US Tour, and now a cast member of Disney's THE LION KING on Broadway. Selloane has appeared on Jay Leno, The Today Show, The View, and the 2008 Tony Awards. She also was a featured artist at the 2008 Lunas Awards in Mexico City and has performed at The White House for President and Mrs. Bush honoring Ghana's President John Kufuor and Mrs. Theresa Kufuor. She was featured at the 21st annual Easter Bonnet for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids with a song she wrote 'Thari e Ntsho,' a definite highlight of the event which raised over $3.3 million dollars for the cause.

Opera-trained performance artist Joseph Keckler celebrates his newest EP featuring new music & surprises abound

To celebrate the release of his E.P., Featured Creatures, Joseph Keckler returns to Joe's Pub before heading out for a European tour. Joined by his partner in crime, violinist Dan Bartfield, a three piece band, and a number of special guests, Keckler presents new songs and stories and inhabits a miscellany of bizarre personae.

Seating, as well as standing-room, is available only on a first-come, first-served basis for all shows without a dinner reservation. Two drink or $12 food minimum per person is standard.
