The national tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys will play a Los Angeles engagement at the Ahmanson Theatre next year.  Playing for 11 weeks, Jersey Boys will begin previews on May 25th, 2007, open on June 3rd, and run through August 5th.

Other stints for the tour include San Francisco's Curran Theatre this December and Chicago's LaSalle Bank Theatre in October of 2007.

Jersey Boys, currently running at the August Wilson Theatre, is the Tony Award-winning story of the Four Seasons. Directed by Des McAnuff, it also stars Daniel Reichard, J. Robert Spencer and Tony Award-winner Christian Hoff.   Jersey Boys features music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

Jersey Boys is "about a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty," state press notes.
