Tony Award-winner Jane Krakowski will join Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Rachel Dratch in the highly anticipated new TV show "30 Rock," which will debut on NBC on October 11th at 8:30 PM.  The show will air on Wednesdays.

Created and written by "SNL" alumna Fey, "30 Rock" is a show-within-a-show.  Krakowski will play Jenna DeCarlo, the star of "The Girlie Show," while Fey will play comedy writer Liz Lemon.  Dratch--who originated Krakowski's role in the pilot--will now take on various parts.  "30 Rock" will also feature Tracy Morgan, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander and Jack McBrayer, among others.

Krakowski received a Tony Award for playing the seductive Carla in the recent Broadway revival of Nine, and most recently played Miss Adelaide in the London revival of Guys and Dolls. Other Broadway credits include Once Upon a Mattress, Company, Grand Hotel and Starlight Express.  She is best known to TV audiences for her work as Elaine Vassal on "Ally McBeal;" she earned a 1999 Golden Globe nomination for her performance on the show.
