Irish Folklore Storyteller and Singer Helena Byrne will bring her US tour to New York City this September.

Helena's storytelling interweaves tales of the 'Other World' and the mysterious 'Fairy Folk' with traditional Irish songs and wonderful insights into Irish life in days gone by.

Akin to the traditional travelling Seanchai of times past, Helena will bring your imagination into the fascinating world of the Banshee, the Pooka, the Leprechaun and the Supernatural, while emulating the traditional Irish sing-song.

Helena performs at The Rambling House, 4292 Katonah Avenue, Bronx, NY 10470 on Tuesday September 13th and at the New York Irish Center, 1040 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101 on Wednesday September 14th. Both shows begin at 8pm with doors opening at 7.30pm.

Tickets at $25 are available through the Emerald Isle Immigration Center and the New York Irish Center.
