The Invisible Dog Art Center in Brooklyn, NY will showcase its twenty-seven artists on Saturday, April 24 from noon to midnight. Take the opportunity to see how the center's artists have grown and evolved since last fall. The Invisible Dog Art Center artists include Juan Alfaro, Bina Altera, Jeff Amurao, Gab Benzur, EmManuel Bernardoux, Malcolm Brown, Liz Burow, Chong Gon Byun, Andre Da Loba, Eduardo Gil, Megan Hershman, Nemo Hoffman, Gabriel Jones, Kiya Kim, Anna Levikova, Giles Lyon, Angelo Monaco, Anne Mourier Attal, Joanna Neborsky, Xavier Roux, Giuseppe Stampone, Ian Trask, Eirini Vourloumis & Susan Weinthaler.

The Invisible Dog, a new three-story art center in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, is an example of the integration of forward thinking and care for the past. The rawness of the unfinished space is integral to the Invisible Dog’s identity: The ceiling on the third floor was restored using floor boards found in other parts of the building, and the enormous elevator shaft (the elevator removed) will be left open, as a unique exhibition space. Everywhere, the commitment to collaboration and community is clear. The ground floor, with its 14-foot ceilings, will be used for public events, performances, educational programs, and exhibitions, organized by guest curators from around the world. The second floor, divided into studios, is already occupied by nine specially-selected artists on one-year leases. They meet regularly with Director Lucien Zayan to discuss their work and projects. The third floor, light-filled and spacious designed by Anne Attal, will be available for flexible rental by the general public. The Invisible Dog Art Center is located at 51 Bergen Street (between Smith street and Boerum Place), Brooklyn, NY 11201. F or G Trains - Bergen street stop For more information, visit www.theinvisibledog.org or contact theinvisibledog.ny@gmail.com.
