Industry professionals are invited to a reading of TIM and SCROOGE, one of the hit musicals from last year's NEW YORK MUSICAL THEATER FESTIVAL (voted top 5 best musicals). Direction by Nick Corley, with Music by Neil Berg (composer of the hit off-broadway musical THE PRINCE AND THE PAUPER), book and lyrics by Nick Meglin (editor of MAD MAGAZINE). The reading takes place at 3pm, and the entire 1 hour and 45 minute show will be performed.

TIM AND SCROOGE is a sequel to A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and picks up the story of TIny Tim Cratchit ten years after Scrooges' famous night of ghostly visitations. Because of Scrooge's magical transformation and generousity, TIm has healed and grown into a healthy young man. He is about to graduate from university when a major problem arises, and a now deceased Scrooge must come back as a ghost and help Tim through his ordeal.

The musical stays consistent to the DIckens classic, and is filled with charm, humor, love, wit, tears and a wonderful score that you can actually hum! It is the perfect feel good Christmas season musical for the entire family. It has a cast of twelve, including all your favorite Dickens characters such as the entire Cratchit family.

This show would be a perfect holiday show for any Regional Theater, and after years of development and the success of the show in the NYMP festival, it is ready to be launched with a major production.

The cast includes Broadway actors Allen Fitzpatrick as Scrooge, Jessica Grove, Peter Samuels, Tally Session, Robin Skye, Geoffry Blaisedell, Alexis Grausz, Becky Watson and Bobby Steggert as Tim. Bobby Steggert played TIny Tim's brother in A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Garden several years ago.

Industry professionals should RSVP by sending an email to timandscrooge@neilberg.com . Please remember to include your name and email address. Chelsea Studios is located at 151 West 26th Street (Between 6th and 7th)
