The 2013 Laurence Olivier Awards were held yesterday in the UK, hosted by Sheridan Smith, and Broadway, Hollywood and West End heavyweight Idina Menzel wowed the crowd in her heartfelt musical dedication to late composer Marvin Hamlisch, singing a SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS cut-out before the cast of the new revival production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning A CHORUS LINE capped it all off.

"All my life / You'll be there / Catching me / Unaware," sings Menzel in the Craig Carnelia lyrics to the moody and ultimately powerfully moving melody, "That's How I Say Goodbye", a song written for the short-lived 2002 tuner that was cut on the road.

Following that, we are taken backstage of A CHORUS LINE before the cast takes to the stage for a rollicking "One".
