Hugh Bonneville to Co-Host 2013 Olivier Awards with Sheridan Smith!

As reported by the Daily Mail, "Downton Abbey" star Hugh Bonneville is set to co-host this year's Olivier Awards with Sheridan Smith at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden on April 28, 2013. Nominations will be revealed March 26.

Bonneville joined The National Theatre in 1987, followed by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1991, where he starred alongside Kenneth Branagh in Hamlet in 1992. He also appeared in RSC's The Two Gentlemen of Verona, 'Tis Pity She's a Whore and The Alchemist. Bonneville, Downton Abbey's 'Earl of Grantham', has also appeared on television in Take A Girl Like You, Armadillo, Daniel Deronda, The Commander, Love Again, Twenty Twelve, and is the narrator for Channel 4's "The Hotel". His film credits include Notting Hill, Tomorrow Never Dies, Mansfield Park, Iris, Burke and Hare, and many more.

Theatre fans will be able to watch the star-studded 2013 Olivier Awards ceremony live on ITV. Leading the evening's proceedings on stage will be double Olivier Award-winning actress Sheridan Smith. The Legally Blonde The Musical and Hedda Gabler star will also be joined by another double Olivier Award winner, Julia McKenzie, who will provide this year's Awards voiceover.
