Hipknoties Finds a Home at the Newmark Showroom

Sarah Yonover has had an illustrious career in the fashion industry, working as Director of Sales for Michael Kors in both Accessories and RTW Collection. But it was last summer, on a family vacation to New York, she wanted to leave her standard suitcases full of 'options' behind for a more simplified traveling experience. The fashionista challenged herself to repurpose her infinity scarf she wore on the plane every day throughout her stay in the Big Apple, turning it into a chic one-shoulder dress, a sleek halter-top and a stylish shrug. When she was stopped on the street multiple times to field inquiries about her look, she knew she was on to something.

Yonover returned to Arizona, determined to manufacture the clever yet simple fashion concept; a garment so versatile it could be worn differently every day of the year. In 2011 she launched the online boutique and mobile app for Hipknoties and quickly sold thousands of the convertible dresses and skirts without a single return, but catching the attention of a high profile NYC showroom such as NewMark Showroom was a career high for Yonover.

The multi-faceted showroom has 30 years of combined experience as well as successful brands including Sweetees, Sky, True Religion, 2 be free, Habitual and Yummie Tummie under their belt. According to Yonover, "My partnership with Newmark represents infinite possibilities and that's what Hipknoties is all about. I'm thrilled to start building the brand awareness that Newmark is famous for." Hipknoties is a one size fits all garment that's made in the USA.
