The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) and playwright Harrie Dobby are pleased to present the world premiere of THE GAP, directed by Jamie Biddle. Performances run Friday, August 14 @ 5 pm, Saturday, August 15 @ 7:15 pm, Sunday, August 16 @ noon, Monday, August 17 @ 7 pm and Tuesday, August 18 @ 2:15 pm at the Flamboyan Theatre at the Clemente, located at 107 Suffolk Street (between Rivington & Delancey). In THE GAP, meet Lisa: our intrepid American. Meet Dave: he's black, beautiful, British. They travel the world, joined by Irish Hippies & sex-mad Londoners. But Lisa becomes pregnant, jeopardizing their dreams of backpacking together forever. What must you sacrifice to be happy? All proceeds from the FringeNYC production will be donated to the Hospice of St Francis, a home that cares for terminally ill children in the UK. Harrie Dobby (Writer/"Megan") is an actor/writer from London. She trained at Drama Studio London. Credits include a UK & International tour of A Midsummer Night's Dream with S4K, and Mary Jane Kelly in Jack the Ripper's London. Screen credits include courtroom drama The Trial for Channel 5, and Sunken Garden for the English National Opera. The Gap is Harrie's first full-length play, and she is very excited to be bringing it for New York for its world premiere.

Jamie Biddle (Director/"Andy") is an actor/writer from London. He trained at the Richmond Drama School. Stage credits include a musical revival of The Cheeky Chappie at the Arts Theatre in London's West End, and a revival of Mike Bartlett's Earthquakes in London. Screen credits include commercials for Dominos, Times Newspaper and Unibet. Jamie was also part of Danny Boyle's 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony. As a writer, Jamie's first play Smoking in the Boys' Room transferred to the prestigious Theatre503 in London, and his most recent play, Extinct, premiered at London's Bush Theatre, and was published by Playdead Press.

Abigail Arnold-Ochs ("Lisa") is an actor, teacher and theatre-maker. She trained at the University of Southern California and is currently working towards an MA in Text & Performance at RADA and Birkbeck College. As a dancer and singer, she has worked with the Baltimore Opera Company, The Kennedy Centre, Showtime and BET networks. Recent credits include a film campaign for Greenpeace and character comedy at The Bridewell Theatre. She is also a supporter of new writing and has performed/ produced for Theatre Uncut and a showcase evening entitled LoveHate. Abigail recently played the lead in The Snow Queen at City Lit. Abigail was part of the original cast of The Gap when it premiered as a ten-minute short at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith.

Rafiq Richard ("Dave") is an actor/writer from London. He trained at The International School Of Screen Acting. His self-penned one man play Walk Like A Black Man was a debut hit at the Camden Fringe 2011, continuing a triumphant run at the Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe 2012. Rafiq played a 15-year-old boy grappling with his mixed ethnicity. Screen credits include a villainous mutant alongside John Malkovich in 2008 sci-fi feature Mutant Chronicles and a devious criminal in Nollywood feature Rapt In Eire (21st Galway Film: Flead Wildcard Pick). Rafiq was nominated for best supporting actor at World Music & Film Awards 2013 in Washington for his role in Starting from Zero. Rafiq was part of the original cast of The Gap when it premiered as a ten-minute short at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith.

Madeleine Brolly ("Sylvie/Charlene") is an Irish/English actress. She trained at Drama Studio London. Her theatre experience is vast and carried. She has worked in three Summer Repertory Seasons at Sheringham Little Theatre. She has played a wide spectrum of characters, from Lotte Schoen in Lettice and Lovage to Gail in Teechers. In 2012 Madeleine performed in all five plays of the season that won the Norfolk Arts award for Theatre. This year sees Madeleine on tour with Theatre Forge in their new play Leaves on a Line. Madeleine is also an established voice artist, having worked extensively for BBC Radio 4.
