Legendary producer and director Harold Prince discusses the possibility of a perfect musical as it pertains to the classic Stephen Sondheim/George Furth concept musical COMPANY as part of a new video interview.

"There's nothing perfect ever - nothing," Prince at first relates in the new video featurette.

"COMPANY could be a perfect musical, but it has to be directed and produced perfectly," Prince candidly shares, having directed and produced the original production of the musical back in 1970, with choreography by Michael Bennett.

Furthermore, Prince adds, "But, I don't think there is such a thing as perfection - it's always something to aspire to; and miss."

"That's what creates history," Prince astutely concludes.

Prince clearly would know, as the recipient of more Tony Awards to date than anybody else!
