Harlem Stage Unites for Haiti with 'Konbit Pou Ayiti,' 7/17

Target Arts and Wonder present KONBIT POU AYITI: Harlem Stage Unites for Haiti on Saturday, Jul 17 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. This event is free.
At 4:00 pm, the gates will open and family activities, arts & crafts, and the DJ will be set. At 5:00 pm, the concert will begin.
Join us for this free outdoor event in celebration and support of Haiti and its relief efforts. The scope of the performances will range from the traditional to the contemporary and popular with artists Tabou Combo, Mika Benjamin, Eddy Francois, Ase Dance Collective, Emeline Michel with special guest Daniel Bernard Roumain, and Los Terrys whose music links traditions from Africa to the Caribbean. There will be a special tribute to dancer Benji Jolicoeur who passed away in the earthquake. Please bring pictures and materials to build a Tower of Power for Haiti. Please feel free to bring blankets as no chairs are allowed.
