UPDATE: CBS has just shared the official ratings report for Grammy Awards: The 58TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS, broadcast for the first time on a Monday and live in the Pacific/Mountain time zones, averaged 24.95 million viewers, the largest audience of any entertainment program this season, according to Nielsen time-adjusted fast affiliate ratings for Feb. 15.

In key demographics, THE GRAMMYS averaged 7.7 in adults 18-49, 9.1 in adults 25-54 and 6.4 in adults 18-34.

This marks CBS's best Monday program performance in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since May 16, 2005, the night of the "Everybody Loves Raymond" series finale.

In late night, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT was the most-watched show in viewers (3.50m) and highest-rated in adults 18-34 (0.8). THE LATE SHOW delivered its largest audience and highest rating in adults 18-34 since Sept. 22, 2015 and its biggest rating in adults 18-49 (0.9) since Sept. 29, 2015.

Preliminary ratings for the 58th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS are in, and according to Deadline, the broadcast, which featured a live performance from the cast of Broadway's Hamilton (click here to watch) and a moving David Bowie tribute performance from Grammy nominated singer Lady Gaga (click here to watch) delivered strong numbers for the CBS network.

The site reports that in Metered Markets, the show, which aired live from 8:00 - 11:31 PM from L.A.'s Staples Center scored a 16.1/25. That marks just a slight dip of 3.5% from the metered market results of the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, which aired on Sunday, February 8 of 2015. In addition, CBS' Monday ratings versus a year ago jumped 184% in Metered Markets results, giving the network an easy win for the night. The telecast averaged a 8.5 rating among adults 18-49 and delivered 25.3 million viewers.

The HAMILTON performance marks just the eighth time in history that musical theatre has been featured on the GRAMMY Awards. Previous Broadway productions featured on the broadcast include "Godspell" (1972); "The Magic Show" (1975); "Sophisticated Ladies" (1982); "La Cage Aux Folles" (1984); "Will Rogers Follies" (1992); "Riverdance" and "Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk" (1997); and, most recently, "American Idiot" (2010).

Reflecting a diverse blend of talented music makers, this year's nominees were selected from more than 21,000 submissions entered. As the only peer-based music award, the GRAMMY AWARDS are voted on by The Academy's membership body of creators across all disciplines of music, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers.
