Gustafer Yellowgold's Wisdom Tooth of Wisdom, the long awaited, sixth installment in the award-winning series of Gustafer Yellowgold "Musical Moving Book" DVD/CD sets by illustrator/songwriter/performer Morgan Taylor, is set for release on September 23.

Featuring a musical format Taylor calls "A-AA" or "All-Ages Alternative," the Gustafer Yellowgold experience is equal parts pop rock concert and animated picture book. The songs, by themselves, are loved by people of all ages whose taste runs to alternative pop/rock, while the video elements unfold in graphic novel fashion, revealing an ink and pencil fantasy world that's appealing to children.

Gustafer Yellowgold's Wisdom Tooth of Wisdom continues the earthly adventures of Gustafer Yellowgold, a friendly fellow who came from the Sun and landed in the Minnesota woods. This episode opens to find Gustafer traversing the woodlands of the North Star State to locate the owner of the world's largest and most mysterious molar. However,Gustafer Yellowgold's Wisdom Tooth of Wisdom is not about teeth! With Gustafer Yellowgold, Morgan Taylor has created a hero who is far from perfect. This part of Gustafer's saga is really about ownership, humility, and the mind's capacity of knowledge. Each scene navigates a different state of mind, taking care to balance offbeat humor with thoughtful poignancy.

Bonus features include an in-depth episode of My Yellowgold Life, with two segments: "The Tooth Will Set You Free," presenting an up-close and behind-the-scenes visit with Morgan Taylor, and "Gustafer Guitar Lessons," in which Morgan Taylor demonstrates his technique and shares tons of fun facts!

Since his creation in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become an international phenomenon, described by The New York Times as "a cross between Yellow Submarine and Dr. Seuss." Entertainment Weeklypraised, "The most infectious original songs. It's like tapping into some pleasure center in the brain, both adult and kid ... absurdly appealing." The Chicago Tribune wrote, "Gustafer Yellowgold has made kids' music so cool that teenagers and ultra-hip bands such as Wilco want to get in on the act ... a shiny blend of pop art and pop tunes."

Possessing an unusual crossover appeal, Gustafer Yellowgold's Showhas performed as the support act for Wilco and The Polyphonic Spree, as well as headlining kids' venues all across the U.S., in London, and even in Seoul, Korea! Gustafer has appeared off-Broadway in his own productions of Gustafer Yellowgold's Mellow Sensation and Gustafer Yellowgold's Infinity Sock.
