The Hollywood Reporter reveals that former RACE co-stars Kerry Washington and David Alan Grier will re-team on the film We the Peeples for 34th Street Films.  They will star alongside Craig Robinson. Filming begins in Connecticut in November.

The comedy, written by Drumline scribe Tina Gordon Chism will also make her directorial debut with the film.  We The Peeples centers on "what happens when a child psychologist (Robinson) surprises his girlfriend (Washington) by showing up at her political family's annual get-together at their Sag Harbor vacation home only to find them desperately in need of therapy," according to The Hollywood Reported.

Tyler Perry Studios is producing alongside 34th Street Films. Lionsgate will distribute the film.
